HI CO!


For today's practice, we played quite well but there's still room for improvement okay? Since Chinese New Year is coming and we are going to perform so we need to play even better!


REHEARSAL FOR CNY PERFORMANCE
It will be on 10 Feb, Wednesday. 
It will be after school from 2.45 pm to 6pm. Since we are performing on the hockey pitch, the rehearsal should be held on the hockey pitch too. Details to be confirmed asap. 
All sec ones are required to go for the rehearsal too. 


CNY PERFORMANCE
For the CNY performance, it will be on 12 Feb, Friday.
We are performing on the field where the hockey pitch is. 
All co members(all performers) are to report by 7 am in the CO & Band Room.
Please be in your co uniform and court shoes.
After the performance, all of you are supposed to change into the school uniform( BLOUSE AND PINAFORE) as well as school socks and school shoes.Those who have PE lessons can wear their PE shirt with their PINAFORES ON. 


For sec ones, all of you are required to come earlier to help carry the chairs and instruments onto the hockey pitch. You will help your section carry the number of chairs needed as well as the instruments. As for what time you all are supposed to report on Friday morning, we will confirm it with you all again. 


As Loren will be conducting both of the pieces that we will be performing, please look at her while she conducts ok? Although we are familiar with the music but we still need to ensure that we are constantly on beat so that our performance will be good! Must remember to sit half-chair during the performance too! No need to memorise the scores but please be familiar with the songs that we are going to play. 


Try to practise Long Teng and Fei Tian at home as we only have one more DaZu practice before the performance. 




This is the long teng that we played in 2008. Take a look ok? Cause it's on the field so it may sound alittle different from the one we have been playing during usual prac. See the video and take note of the volume and everything. We have to play louder than usual prac since we are going to perform on the field.


SEC ONE ORIENTATION
It will be held on 18 February, Week 7 Thursday. 
All CO members are to report by 3.15 pm in the CO & Band Room. 
Please bring along your CO tee and change into it after school before reporting for CCA. Please put on your pinafore till instructions are given for you all to remove it. Only school shorts are allowed. 
For those who do not have the co tee, please bring along a black shirt and change into it after school. 


BREAK TIMES
For all break times from now on, those who return late for the 2nd half of CCA after break will be marked late and a $1 fine will be imposed on those who are late. So please return to the CO & Band Room punctually after break!


CO FUND
Please pay $5 to Pearlyn or Rachel for co fund collection this term. Thanks!
