Below are the details of three concerts that has been announced during CCA today.


Music.Life(Singapore Chinese Orchestra)
Date: 12 March/13 March,8pm
Venue: Singapore Conference Hall
 Ticket price: $15,$20
Details: The pieces that will be performed are 节日序曲,童年的回忆,静夜思and other pieces.

NUS Chinese Orchestra Annual Concert--Quintessence(三月天（汇））
Date: 21 March(Sunday), 8 pm
Venue: University Cultural Centre
Price: $13,$17,$21
Details: The pieces that the orchestra will be performing includes 瑶族舞曲，大地回春 and other pieces. The orchestra will also be performing a composition known as the Sketches of the City by Phoon Yew Tien which is a composition that incorporates mobile phone ringtones.


Music Rendezvous(Singapore Chinese Orchestra)
Date: 26 March/27 March, 8 pm
Venue: Singapore Chinese Orchestra Concert Hall
Ticket price: $15,$20
Details: Conducted by the current Chairman and Artistic Director of shanghai Chinese Orchestra, Wang Fu Jian. The pieces that they will be performing includes 飞天，二胡随想曲，春夜喜雨and other pieces. Since the orchestra will be playing FEI TIAN, i hope that most of you can go for the concert to see how they play it and to learn something like perhaps their stage presence while watching the concert.


Duman High School Chinese Orchestra Concert--An evening of Chinese rhapsodies（华夏情 '10)
Date: 2 April, 7 pm
Venue: Victoria Concert Hall
Price: $8 for stall seats and $10 for circle seats
Details: The songs that the orchestra will be performing are 花木兰，长城随想曲，长堤随想曲 and other pieces. The encore and sectional pieces have not been confirmed yet. I hope that many of you can go for this concert as DHSCO had attained a Gold with Honours for last year's SYF and we should go take a look at their stage presence while indulging in the melodious music.It will be a joint performance pu t up their JC side as well as the secondary side.

Dunman High School Chinese Orchestra ChuiDa concert--Green Dream(鼓音竹韵'10)

Date: 9 May, 7pm

Venue: Singapore Conference Hall

Price: $10(free seating)

So for those who wants to go for any concerts, please tell Pearlyn or Rachel by next thurs. For the DHSCO concert, for those who are interested, please kindly tell Pearlyn or Rachel by tmr if possible. Please reminded that everyone has to for at least 2 CO concerts per year. 


Please pay $5 for CO fund to Pearlyn or Rachel by next Thursday.
