Okay, here is another video of the daji solo. The girl in the middle shaved her head in the name of charity. She's not ill okay.
As all of you can see and hear, i'm sure you can tell the difference. This is the kind of competition we're up against for next year. The alumni only had a few rehearsals before they went up on stage. They haven't touched their instrus for quite a long period of time. Another girl from laxian had to switch to gao hu on that day itself and received the scores only a few hours before the actual one. How many of us from ST. NICKS can actually do that?
The instructors are actually quite disappointed with us you know. There are so many complaints. Is it that hard to practise at least an hour each day? If you have time to blog, chat on MSN, why do you not have time to practise? You guys can't be busier than sec threes. If they can find time to practise, why can't you? Plus, yue er gao is so much simpler than the previous SYF song, dong bei feng. If you cannot or don't want to go for private lessons then practise at home!
Please look deep inside your heart and ask yourself what you are doing in CO. You want CCA points you also have to work hard. Get Certificate of Participation(COP) you will only get like 2 or 3 points. We got gold so we got 7 last year. Ask yourself, reflect what you have been doing in CO so far, be it a few months or two years plus. Have you given your best?
