For celebrating the “8th March” International Women’s Day, the night belongs to an all-female ensemble - musicians, composers and conductor.Master conductor Zheng Xiao Ying is the first female conductor of a symphony orchestra and opera in China. Zheng is also the current artistic director and principal conductor for Xiamen Symphony Orchestra – a troupe she built up from scratch in 1998 and turned into a regional force within a decade. 

2.Exuberance of Youth

This concert is interesting because it blends both Indian and Chinese music, more specifically, it features the tabla, an Indian drum. Songs that are going to be played include “Dialogue for Solo Tabla and Chinese Orchestra”, a blend of Indian and Chinese music by Eric James Watson. Curious to know how it'll turn out? GO FOR THE CONCERT! :D

This concert is recommended because it's by SYCO! And it'll hopefully inspire us to play better.Songs that they're going to play include 月儿高, 台湾组曲 and 八音和鸣. Conducted by Quek Ling Kiong and Tsung Yeh.
