going down memory lane...

Hey SNCO!

Sorry that it has been a really long time since the last blogpost yeah!
Its almost the end of 2013, so lets recall the milestones we have reached so far.
Also, lets take the opportunity to embrace the memories and work towards more in the upcoming 2014!

in order of events....
#1   In recent years, we had the opportunity to perform during CNY celebration.
       (maybe next year's too!)

#2   SYF  where all our blood and sweat paid off when we achieved the highest honour--- certificate of distinction! Although the syf scheme have been revamped, but that did not stop us from putting in our utmost effort and time, fostering stronger bonds at the same time. Definitely the highlight of the year!!!

#3   Shortly after, every performing arts group put up a great performance for the school. Without jubilate this year, it provided us a chance to show what we got to rest of the students. At the same time, celebrate as a school for the straight distinctions!

#4   HC interaction during the June holidays where we got together to make music and learn from one another.(see past blog entry)

#5   Farewell to our dear red badge seniors. (in greater detail in previous entry)

#6   NEX performance, an outdoor public performance. Not the best, but still an experience.

#7   Selected CO members had the rare opportunity to perform pieces during our school's official opening ceremony with PM Lee as the school's guest of honour. Despite the fact that not the entire orchestra managed to take part in the orchestral pieces, the whole school rose to the occasion with the family dance. celebrating our school's 80th anniversary together!


With that, lets work harder to achieve greater heights in the upcoming year!
